Default Super Bowl on NBC

10-2 ATS last 12 NFL picks on NBC

Here we are at the grand finale fellas, but I must admit that this game is a true toss up. Tom Brady, love him or hate him is well on his way of tying Michael Jordan for leading a professional team with 6 championship rings, as well as tying the Steelers all-time for winning the Lombardi trophy. I'm not a Pats fan, but as a sports fan, I see that we are lucky to live in an era witnessing Brady and Belichick dominate their time together in the NFL. An amazing feat just like Auerbach and Bill Russell did for New England's NBA team, the Boston Celtics of the 1950s and 1960s. Brady has many friends and family in Minnesota and will be on his game as they watch in the stands. However, this year the Patriots schedule was as soft as any Super Bowl favorite has carried into February in a while. In their six games against the AFC East, they dropped only the non-critical Dolphins rematch and maintained their poise when the Steelers didnít in a crucial late-season battle at Heinz Field.

On the flip side, Foles comes in on the back end substituting for the NFL best team and has regained his 2013 form with sharpness and high percentage passes. Having the no. 6 offense and no.4 defense in the NFL, the Eagles are one of four teams in the top 10 on both sides of the ball. The Pats are no. 1 offensively, however, its defense is 28th in yards allowed. Philly's pass rush should have an effect in this game and if Foles is on point, this game will go down to the final possession. I am not going crazy and grabbing my ball$ here as I believe it's a coin flip, but I'm taking Philly +4.5 and going under 49.

GL2U!!

* Some other small nonsense trends for you guys:

- The AFC team has never covered 4 straight ATS in Super Bowl history.

Pats are 0-3 ATS vs NFC East in Super Bowl and the games went under in all three

Thanks SG! I'll take a win. Could've grabbed my ball$ big on the game, but knew it'd be close and come down to the end. If the Eagles didn't get that forced fumble off Brady, I believe the Pats would be hoisting the Lombardi trophy once again.
